  • Ammunition
    • Ammunition
    • Regardless of what sort of ranged weapon you use (bow, crossbow or gun), you need ammunition or you may as well be meleeing.

  • Miscellaneous
    • Glyphs
    • The Inscription profession allows its practitioners to enhance the spells and abilities of players’ characters via items called glyphs.

    • Power Auras Classic Unofficial User Manual (for Hunters)
    • Power Auras Classic is an extremely useful little add-on that provides visual cues for certain in-game events such as buffs, debuffs, and abilities coming off of cooldown.

    • Raid Consumables: You are not prepared!
    • Raiding is 20% perspiration and 80% preparation. Okay, so Thomas Edison is being slightly misquoted here, but the gist of the statement remains true.

    • Reputations
    • Raising your reputation with various NPC factions in the game allow you to purchase items from the Quartermaster of that faction.

  • Pets

    • Every beast has a specific diet. Try to feed a cat a piece of fruit and it will refuse to eat it – however, a gorilla will happily gobble it down.

    • Pet Trainers
    • Pet trainers are similar to hunter trainers, except that instead of teaching skills that the hunters themselves use, they are able to untrain pets.

    • Stables & Stable Masters
    • Stables are pet storage. Each stable has five slots – one, labeled ‘Current Pet’ indicates what pet that is currently active, the pet that appears when using the ‘Call Pet’ ability.

  • Weapons
    • Bows
    • Bows are one of the three primary ranged weapons available to hunters.

    • Crossbows
    • Crossbows are one of the three primary ranged weapons available to hunters.

    • Guns
    • Guns are one of the three primary ranged weapons available to hunters.

    • Quivers & Ammo Pouches
    • Quivers and ammo pouches have been rendered obsolete.

    • Weapon Mastery
    • All hunters begin the game knowing how to use one type of ranged weapon (bows, crossbows or guns) and one type of melee weapon (axes, daggers or swords).
